Yoana Acosta

Yoana Acosta Rodriguez was born June 15, 2001, in Marshalltown, Iowa, the daughter of Adan and Maria Rodriguez Acosta. She died on Thursday, January 19, 2017, at the age of fifteen as the result of a motor vehicle accident north of Denison.
Yoana received her education in area schools and was currently a student at Denison-Schleswig High School. She attended St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Denison. Yoana had an interest in and found great pleasure in drawing. She loved to cook, listen to music and talk to and hang out with her friends. She especially loved being an aunt, having a big heart and was very caring.
Survivors include: her parents, Adan and Maria; two sisters, Yasmin and Valaria; one brother, Adan Acosta, Jr.; two nieces, Daisy and Alejandro; other relatives and friends.
