Alice Marie Cox

Alice Marie Cox was born on May 20, 1930, the daughter of Franklin and Edith (Brown) Tooley. She died on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 in Denison, Iowa at the age of ninety-three.

Alice was born in Aurora, Illinois and married Carl R. Cox on April 5, 1952 in Aurora, Illinois where they lived. The couple moved to Iowa in 1973, where Alice resided until she retired. She enjoyed camping, Bingo, and playing card games.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl Cox; five brothers; and six sisters.

Survivors include her four daughters: Deborah Crist and her husband Jeff of Bristol, Illinois, Kandy Goslar of Denison, Carol Canada of Yorkville, Illinois, and Brenda Carlson and her husband Lonnie of Ute; one granddaughter; six grandsons; seven great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.

Private family services will be held in the Oakland Cemetery in Denison.
