Brenda Sue Borosko

Brenda Sue Borosko the daughter of Charlotte Marie Damon and Jack Leon Smith, Sr. was born on January 19, 1979, in Kansas City, Kansas. She received her education from Missouri Valley Schools and attended college online.

Brenda married Michael Borosko on June 22, 2000. She enjoyed playing computer and phone games. She was very creative and enjoyed various crafting and painting. She managed the company DBCA Global since 2018. She stayed very busy and was well rounded when it came to IT work. If family or friends were in need, there was no question that she would make herself available. She was servant hearted and nonjudgmental and she dedicated her life to helping others. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family and spoiling her grandson.

Brenda passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at the age of 44 years, nine months and 28 days.

Brenda was preceded in death by her grandparents and brother, Jack Leon Smith, Jr. She is survived by her husband, Michael Borosko of Manilla; three children: Kelsie Darie Smith, Kimberly (Ben) Nohrenberg, and Kaleb Michael Wayne Borosko all of Manilla; beloved grandson, Cash Leon; parents: Jack Sr. and Charlotte Smith of Manilla; siblings: Tina Smith of Council Bluffs, Jason (Julie) Smith of Sheldon, Donis (Mike) Bosworth of Austin, Texas, Joshua Smith (Jenae Heller) of Carroll, and Jacob (Allie) Smith of Manilla; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Brenda’s wishes were to be cremated. The family will hold her Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 20, 2023, at the Memorial Hall in Manilla, Iowa.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
