Jerome “Jerry” Schwarte, age 84, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2025.
Jerry was preceded in death by several family members. He is survived by his wife, Starr Schwarte; children: Deborah (Barry) Steadman, Mary McClure, Christine (Troy) Frazier, Susan Schwarte, Donna Stephen, Steve Schwarte, Jason (Valerie) Schwarte, Clay (Amber) Schwarte; 34 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren; brother, Kenny (Rose) Schwarte; and sisters: Sally Lass and Connie (Rod) Summerfield.
Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Huebner Funeral Home in Denison. A Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Earling, with visitation prior from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Earling.
