Joseph M. Klein

October 26, 1964 — May 3, 2017

Joseph Michael Klein, age 52, of Denver Colorado, passed away in his home on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, of sudden natural causes.
Joe was born in Atlantic Iowa on October 26, 1964, to son of Joe and Carmen Klein. Joe graduated from Denison High School and received a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from University of Northern Iowa in 1987.
Joe was a member of the Association of Certified Public Accountants and owned his own business from 2002 until his death. Joe is known for his passionate convictions, was active in the Republican party and Log Cabin Republicans, enjoyed musicals, science fiction, volunteering and spending time with friends. He is very well known for unconditionally opening his heart and home to all and hosting large events -- from his weekly, “Friday Night Boys Club” for over a decade — to his "Pilgrim’s Thanksgiving”, “Junk Food Christmas”, Cinco de Mayo, Halloween and many other big events.
Joe was preceded in death by his mother Carmen Klein; his grandparents, Joe and MaryAnn Klein; and his uncle Glenn Klein. He is survived by his father Joe Klein, of Buck Grove, Iowa; and his brothers: George Klein of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Michael Klein of St. Petersburg, Florida; and John Klein of Ankeny, Iowa; several nieces and nephews; his two beloved cats Ronnie and Maggie; and a large family of friends.
