Kenneth "Herbie" Bral

Kenneth “Herbie” Leslie Bral was born on July 17, 1960, in Denison, Iowa, to Robert and Marcella (Hammer) Bral. He was the youngest of five children and attended grade school in Ar-We-Va and Denison.

In the late 1970s, Herbie began working for his father at Bral Plumbing. Following the death of his father in 2002, he started his own plumbing business. As his health declined in later years, he eventually retired from working.

Friday nights were often spent at the races in Denison with his son, Matthew, and his brother, Ronald. He also enjoyed working on his cars and took pride in detailing them and keeping them looking their best.

Herbie passed away on September 1, 2026, having attained the age of 66 years, one month, and 15 days.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Marcella Bral, and his brother, Robert Jr. Bral.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Matthew (Crystal) Schulte; granddaughter, Emily Seidel; siblings, Diane (Richard) Gunderson, Clayton (Kathy) Bral, and Ronald Bral; as well as nieces and nephews, extended family members, and friends.

In keeping with Herbie’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and no services will be held.
