Sandy Wulf

Sandy Jean Wulf was born on September 15, 1961, the daughter of Arnold and Betty (Braasch) in Denison, Iowa. She was baptized and later confirmed into the Lutheran faith. Sandy received her education from Denison High School, graduating with the class of 1979. 

Sandy was blessed with two sons: Jerad and Austin. She worked in the food industry, cooking for various local bars and restaurants. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Deloit. Some of her favorite pastimes were playing Phase 10 with her siblings and crossword puzzles. She loved black and white cows and had quite the collection of them. Above all, she cherished her circle of friends and being a mom. She was always the biggest supporter of her boys.

Sandy passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at Odebolt Specialty Care at the age of 62 years, six months and nine days.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents; a brother in infancy; brother, Rick Wulf; and sister, Susan (Sherman) Higginbottom. She is survived by her two sons: Jerad Wulf of Sioux City and Austin Wulf of Deloit; two aunts: Connie Mulligan of Deloit and Loretta Anderson of Denison; nieces and nephews: Eddie (Tracy) Grage of Manchester, Eric Grage of Deloit, Brandon (Angie) Wulf of Kiron, and Brittany (Luke) Herbert; family friend, Heidi Nobiling; many cousins; and other relatives and friends.

Visitation with family greeting friends will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at the Huebner Funeral Home in Denison. Her Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 29, 2024, also at the Huebner Funeral Home in Denison with inurnment to follow in the St. John Lutheran Cemetery near Kiron. Memorials may be directed to the family.
