Roland, the video tribute your family put together for you is so touching. It depicts everyone and everything in life you loved: your dedication to your jobs, your love of family and friends, gardening, animals, your collections of beautiful things you love, and your faith in God. We'll never forget your smile and never ending shenanigans!! You were kind, gentle and humble. You were a good man and will be missed by many. I'm sure the heavenly gardens are flourishing under your care. Rest in Peace.

Roland, the video tribute created by your family is truly a testament of the wonderful man you were. You were passionate about everything you did, whether it be working hard, loving good times with family and friends, gardening and enjoying nature, collecting beautiful things you loved, making us happy with your contagious smile and constant shenanigens. There was never a dull moment when you were around! You loved your Lord God, which was obvious with your humble, kind and gentle heart. I'm sure you are lovingly tending flowers along His streets of gold!!

With out sympathy to all of Roland's family. I worked at Zion Lutheran School when Roland was janitor there. He was always so helpful to the staff. Whenever we would see him, he always was so friendly to visit with. He ALWAYS had a smile on his face! Hoping the good memories you had with him will help you through the days ahead.

I last talked to Roland when he was doing work at the Denison Post office. We said " Hi" and smiled at each other. He was a hard worker; and I have good memories of him from when he was in HS and I was Secretary in the office there. My Sincere Sympathy to all of his family!

Dear Marian, I am so saddened to read about Roland. He was such a wonderful guy and I loved our little chats at the post office when I was still working. He made the planters in front of the post office look wonderful and so enjoyed doing it. Prayers to you all and may the holy angels speed him to paradise. 🙏🙏

Roland will be missed by many, the last time I talked to him, he was putting Christmas decorations on the post office windows, we stood back, trying to decide what would look best. He was a really good guy.
